OPENING UNKNOWN PICTURES MIGHT GIVE YOU A VIRUS
DON’T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN!
Microsoft has recently reported a vulnerability
called Exploit/MS04-028, affecting the process of viewing JPEG files.
The problem affects many of the company's applications including
Office XP, Office 2003 or Windows XP.
When a user opens a JPEG image that has been specially crafted to exploit
the vulnerability, a buffer overflow occurs that could allow malicious
action to be taken on the computer, including downloading and running of
files. For this reason, it was just a matter of time before malicious code
exploiting this flaw appeared.
- Find out if your computer is vulnerable and install the patch provided by
Microsoft to correct the problem. To do this, go to:

 ANOTHER FAKE MICROSOFT VIRUS HITS
Don't fall for e-mail just because it says Microsoft!
There have been several well-known worms that appeared as
support messages from Microsoft, the most famous and
successful of which was SoBig.B. They were all simple text
messages though. The newest attack, known as Swen or Gibe,
is much more professional looking. It is well-formatted,
uses real graphics from Microsoft and has a lot of attention
to detail. It also has an .exe attachment...
MICROSOFT NEVER E-MAILS WINDOWS UPDATES!

Don't give them any personal information!
It has come to our attention that yet another scam involving domain names
is being played on unsuspecting domain name owners.

about your domain name registrations and tries to trick you
into giving him your credit card information or

and/or with the attachment “Mmsn_offline.htm”
The virus hasn't infected many computers yet, but virus researchers have given it
a “High” rating for both damage and distribution,
meaning the potential for widespread infections is considerable.
